Join Salisbury’s Poetika group on the third Tuesday of every month for a poetry open mic. “We don’t read and write poetry because it’s cute, We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race” so seize the day and sing your hymns, write your history while you are here to make it. This month, it’s back to school with a cinematic twist as we take inspiration from the classic film “ The Dead Poet’s Society”. Whether you hark back to your education or base your creations on poets past, September is the season to stand and shout it from your desk. Articulate as you matriculate and join us for this autumnal exploration of dark academia inspired by this film that so aptly speaks our words.
