It aims to provide interesting and varied programmes of music. The orchestra's core repertoire is that of the classical period, particularly Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven, but its concerts have included a wide range of works, from Baroque to the 21st century. It also sets out to encourage young, particularly local, instrumental soloists, composers and conductors. |
